SL Under the Radar Ep 34- The Live Show
Radar | August 4, 2008On July 19th, 2008, we held a live SL Under the Radar event at the SLPN headquarters on Nowhereville, which no longer exists. The SLPN Headquarters there, I mean. Nowhereville still exists, so far as I know. The SLPN headquarters is on Podcast Island and is in a state of unfinishedness. Sorry. Anyway, this is a recording of that event, and the demolition of the SLPN building on Nowhereville that came after.
Intro music is “Under the Radar” by the band What The…? (http://www.what-the.com/). There was no outro music this time.

I wanted to say something about Itazuras voice mail… I agree with what he said regarding what people think about RL vs. VR… he mentioned sl as a “game”, Nika did this the other day as well and I was sort of taken back a little… I realized most people see this as a game (kinda along the same lines as you and “online” vs “offline” when it comes to SL). I do not call SL a game and do not see it as so. Everyone I meet in here (with exception of the HUGE cigar smoking pranksters, people not respecting others “player” types) as a person. It kind of goes back to when people actually wrote real letters you sent with a licked stamp… they were real and you could tell they were real when you wrote/read them. Maybe I am a little crazy but I don’t see the game portion of this too good… maybe I need to buy some new eyes.
Great show.
