SL Under the Radar 16 - Do you feel lucky, Steampunk?
SL Under the Radar Episode 16 - Do you feel lucky, Steampunk?

Steampunk's the word! No, wait, Grease is the word. Anyway. This time steampunk afficianado TheFriedGeek Althouse, Chugabug Goodnight, and myself visit the Babbage Square and Babbage Canal sims all for you! That's right, it's like we know you. These two sims are excellent steampunk builds, worthy of your respect, unlike my podcast. Thanks to TFG and Chug for the fun!

My key is one of Dedric's. The silver metal works with my standard black-white-grey color scheme for the midget butler av.

    Gomem made a plaid version.

Working on windup flying couches for tours of the sims.

Solivar Scarborough here - entrepreneur, showman, acquitted. Thanks for visiting my Phantasmagorium, purchasing my MOA hats (MOA= Man Of Action), and your kind words about my magic lantern. I'm sorry my info center isn't up yet - been taking a fair amount of polite heat for being tardy with it, but I'm all over the map lately (actually making decent real cash income doing builds and avatars for an educational company - yay!) Hopefully I'll have a body somewhere about the premises - It's terribly old fashioned of me, but I think no building is complete without a corpse.

Ordinal's factory is a great build, and once she gets her product in, you can get some very interesting weapons - nicely built, with some clever functions. The Bee Caster blunderbus is fun...

Iguana State products by Penny Patton originally came in from the Wasteland - if you haven't been, do so - a war-torn post apocalypse build. She does some great texturing.

The little kid might have been Loki - he's one of the urchins (small group of child rp'ers - not the kinky kind). He and his gang add some interesting color - they mugged someone on one of their first days in the sim. And he does some fun builds - The Majestic Theatre with it's opium den (I did it first in Port Caledon back in the day, just FYI, and my opium beds included a hallucination attachment), the Absinthe bar, etc...

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay - they've just opened a 3rd sim - Port Babbage - they're working on underwater environments.

It was an entertaining listen - I'll be listening again.

    Cheers!

you managed to avoid all the best builds in New babbage lol.

The Museum, the Police Station, the Absinthe Cafe, the old theatre... :-p

We could spend a few days on these sims and probably, still, not see everything. Babbage is a great build, and was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, we 3 are in different time zones, and there wasn't enough time. Maybe when Port Babbage is finished, Radar would consider doing another episode of exploring there. Cheers!

I was delighted to hear you liked my flight packs. The arcade is owned by my friend Beleynn Yifu and I, hence the name MaYifu (Mayo+Yifu). Great podcast!
